One of the best things you can do to help prevent sexual violence is by breaking the silence.
Often family and friends are aware of an issue long before one occurs and by speaking out you can help to protect another person from being victimized. If you know of someone being sexually abused or assaulted … speak up and tell someone!
Other things that you can do is to volunteer your time and even better in these hard times, your money to these great organizations in our country that help to assist and prevent these types of crimes. There are many great organizations and I have listed them down below so you can read up and decide which one you would most like to assist.
If we all do a little we can accomplish a lot!
